Spencerville;  Sharon Kaye "Shari" Youngpeter, 77, of Spencerville, passed away at 8:52 AM Friday, July 30, 2021 in the Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, with her children at her side.

She was born March 24, 1944 in Lima, the daughter of the late Kenneth H. and Iva Jean Evans Davies. On February 8, 1964 she married Thomas M. Youngpeter, who died September 20, 2003.

Shari is survived by her daughter Angela M. (Joseph) Westenkirchner of Waterville and her son Anthony T. (Joleen) Youngpeter of Bluffton; six grandchildren,  Jamie (Mitchell) Schulze of McClure, Kurt Westenkirchner of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Matthew Westenkirchner of Margate, FL., Daniel (Brittany Hovest) Klingler of Columbus Grove, Cole  (Christina Emery) Youngpeter of Columbus and Spencer Youngpeter of Dayton and two great grandchildren, Connor Schulze and Autumn Duffy.

Shari was a 1962 graduate of Spencerville High School and was a member of the Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Spencerville, where she had served as a Eucharistic Minister. As a homemaker, she took great pride in her family, her home and its surroundings and flowers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Tuesday in the Saint Patrick Church with Father ?? officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.

With special consideration of the Covid-19 ,the family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM Monday and from 9:30 until 10 AM Tuesday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville.
