Sharon L. Miller, 77, of rural Spencerville, passed away peacefully at 4:52 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2023 in the Mercy Health St Rita's Medical Center following a short illness.

She was born February 18, 1945 in Lima, a daughter of the late Marjorie (Gaskill) Gilroy. Her step-father was the late John E. Gilroy. She married Daniel R. Miller Jr., who passed away on Aug. 16, 1975.

Sharon is survived by her brother, Phillip E. Gilroy and brother-in-law Duane Miller, nephews Aaron Gilroy of Spencerville and Justin Miller of Lima, niece Sara (Maria) Toth of Cleveland, cousins Nell Evans of Spencerville, Fern (Jack) Stewart of Bluffton and Beulah Imler of Columbus, her kitty cat Savannah and special friend Janet Moorman of Lima.

Sharon loved The Ohio Sate Football and had attended the Friends Church in Spencerville. She had worked as a Home Health aide.

Her wishes were to have a grave side funeral services, which will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 14, 2023, in the Spencerville Cemetery with Earl Gaskill officiating. Her family will greet friends at the cemetery prior to the service. Memorial contributions to the Spencerville Invincible Fire Company and Spencerville Ambulance service.
