Delphos; Sharon Kay Williams, 80, of Delphos, passed away at 9:46 AM Saturday, December 24, 2022 at her home, with her family at her side.
She was born May 31, 1942 in Dayton to the late Charles Edward and Arnavelle Louise Mowery Poff.
Sharon is survived by her three sons; Timothy (Lecia) Williams of Delphos, Keith (Mary) Williams of Dublin, Ohio and Kevin (Kami) Williams of Delphos, eight grandchildren; Jessica Williams of New York, Jacob (Makayla) Williams of Columbus, Collin (Kayla) Williams of Lima, Casey (Trey Gossman) Williams of Savoy, IL., Kyle (Emily) White of Wetzel, Curtis White of Delphos, Erin (Andrew) Gabalski of Sunbury, OH. and Cody Williams of Delphos; three great grandchildren; Abel, Matthias and Jaxson White and her twin sister, Scheila (Bill) Archer of Wapakoneta,
Preceding her in death are her granddaughter, Demi Williams and her siblings, Douglas Poff, Maryann Ziegenbusch and Charlene Swany.
Sharon was a 1961 graduate of Spencerville High School and worked at the former Hayes-Albion / Trim Trends Corp. in Spencerville for 37 years, until its closure, in the press room and paint dept.
She was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Eagles Lodge in Delphos and the Spencerville American Legion Auxiliary. She loved being with her family and grandchildren. She was an expert Bingo player and JigSaw puzzeler and enjoyed any Thrift Store.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 PM Thursday, December 29, 2022 in the Saint John Church in Delphos with Father Tony Vera officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartford Cemetery, North East of Spencerville.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 PM Wednesday at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, 728 East Fourth Street in Spencerville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Saint Rita's Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
