STEVEN CRITES
SPENCERVILLE — Steven L. Crites, 53, of Spencerville, died Sat. Sept. 3, 2016, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 25, 1962, in Lima, the son of Roger & Donna (Holtzhauer) Crites who preceded him in death.
Survivors include, 2 sons, Trevor S. Crites & Evan S. Crites, both of Columbus, OH, a brother, Kevin S. (Betsy) Crites, St. Marys, OH, step-grandparents, Maurice & Waneta Hager.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ross & Lena Crites.
Steve worked at Metzger Drainage Co. A 1982 graduate of Spencerville High School, he was an auxiliary member of the V.F.W., Bowersoock Bros. Post #6772, Spencerville. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wed. Sept. 7, 2016, at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, with Pastor Jim Fletcher officiating. Burial of his cremated remains will be in the Kossuth Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m., Tues. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice
