Spencerville; Susan Marie Gaskill, 65, of Spencerville, passed away at 7:42 a.m. on February 29, 2024 at Lima Memorial Health Systems in Lima.
Susan was born on February 14, 1959, in Lima, to the late William H. and Patty L. (Pavel) Tuttle. She grew up between Spencerville and Delphos, attending grade school in Delphos before finishing her schooling at Spencerville High School where she met Roger E. Gaskill. Susan and Roger were united in marriage on April 17, 1976 and together they had three children.
Susan was a member of the United Brethren Church of Christ in Monticello. She really enjoyed needle point and 5D Diamond Art. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.
Susan is survived by Roger E. Gaskill of Spencerville; three children, Tera Lynn (Brian) Viola of Elida, Kevin Michael Gaskill of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Christopher Allen (Jenna) Gaskill of Wapakoneta; seven grandchildren, Hope, Faith, Alex, and Joy Viola, Kayden, Jasmine, and Ezra Gaskill; four siblings, Christina L. Cook of Florida, Tammi J. Tuttle of Florida, Cindy L. (Patrick) Gard of Missouri, and Julie A. (Don) Blossom of Lima. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, William H. Tuttle II, Harold H. Tuttle, and Jeffrey L. Tuttle.
There will be a visitation from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville. Visitation will continue from 10:00-11:00 with her funeral starting at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024 also at the funeral home in Spencerville with Pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Burial will take place following the funeral at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos. Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville is caring for Susan and her family. In memory of Susan, preferred memorial may be given to the Monticello United Brethren Church in Christ.
