Theresa Lynn Reed, 73, of Lima passed away at 3:23 a.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus.

Theresa was born on March 12, 1950, in Kossuth, OH to the late Jack Curtis and Martha Ann (Craft) Reed. She grew up around Spencerville and graduated in the late 60's before joining the workforce. She started working at Fisher's in Wapakoneta and finished the rest of her working life at P&G in Lima for about 15 years before retiring.

When she wasn't busy working, Theresa enjoyed spending her time crocheting and knitting. She also got very involved with her Native American heritage and attended and performed in traditional pow wow's. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and her sisters. Being the oldest of the kids, she was expected to look out for her younger siblings and being a natural caretaker made it easy for her.

Theresa is survived by her daughter, Jessica Lynn Reed of Lima; three grandchildren, Lily Reed, Connor Reed, Caleb Reed; four siblings, Deborah Forster of Wapakoneta, Lisa (Dale) Bendele of Ottoville, Ava (John) Garver of Columbus, Josh (Patricia) Reed of Lima; brother-in-law, Addison Foster. She is preceded in death by parents, Jack and Martha Reed.

There will be a memorial service held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2023, at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville with pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating.
