Spencerville   Tina J. Youngpeter, 58, of Spencerville, passed away suddenly at her residence Monday evening, January 2, 2023, with her husband at her side.

She was born March 28, 1964 in Lima, a daughter of the late Harold Leroy and Leona Melvene Ayers Bohyer. On September 30, 1995 she married Gregory M. Youngpeter, who survives in Spencerville.

Also surviving are her brothers, Wayne Bohyer and Michael (Tonya) Bohyer , both of Elida and her brother-in-law Dick McCarty of Lima; her in-laws, Mark (Luann) Youngpeter of Spencerville, Rob (Dianna) Youngpeter of Brookville, Mike (Laura) Youngpeter  and Michelle (Todd) Howard, both of Spencerville and several nieces and nephews.

Tina was preceded in death by her sister Elaine McCarty and sister-in-law Betsy Youngpeter.

She was a graduate of Perry High school and the Apollo Cosmetology Program. She then worked several years at the Kewpee East and later the Kewpee West locations in Lima.  Later, with her husband Greg, operated child care in their home for many Spencerville Kids over the years.

Funeral services will be at Noon Saturday , January 7, 2023 in  the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with Pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until services Saturday in the funeral home.
