Toby S. Roof, 62, of Kenton, OH passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at his home near Spencerville surrounded by his family.

Toby was born on June 5, 1963 in Lima to Frank Roof and the late Patty (Nelson) Roof. He is survived by his three daughters, Hannah, Kirsten, and Kiara (Grayson); father, Frank Roof; brother, Lee (Melva) Roof; two nephews, Ben and Lyndon; and many friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patty Roof.

In his free time, he loved spending time with Kirsten, Kiara, and Grayson, racing his swim dogs; reminiscing with friends and watching football. Toby was a lifetime member of the Hardin County Coon Hunters Club. He was known as the leader of the "Hillbilly Mafia", a title he was very proud of. Toby's family and friends will miss his big heart and willingness to help anyone before himself.

A Celebration of Life service will be held from 12:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Hardin County Coon Hunter's Club, 21623 CR-144, Kenton, OH 43326. Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville is caring for Toby and his family.
