SPENCERVILLE — Vaughn Alan Weilacher, 52, of Spencerville, died Friday evening, October 6, 2017, in his residence following a long illness.
He was born May 20, 1965 in Van Wert, a son of Lawrence E. "Larry" and Lavina B. McMinn Weilacher. His father is deceased and his mother survives in Delphos.
Surviving are his three children; Victoria (Levi) Mitchell of Wapakoneta; Stormy (Jordan) Kill of Spencerville and Jarrett Weilacher of Wapakoneta; three grandchildren; Autumn Mitchell, Braylen Kill and Isaiah Kill; and four siblings; Edward (Carol) Weilacher of Delphos; Ina (Ron) Welker and Lou Ann (Tim) Washburn, both of Spencerville and Karen (Bill) Hurles of Dayton, Nevada.
Vaughn was a 1983 graduate of Spencerville High School and worked many years as a machinist at the Federal Mogul Corp. in Van Wert.
He was a member of the Northwest Ohio Field and Stream Assn.. His true love and fun was playing with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing and four-wheeling.
A Celebration of Life will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, where the family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
