SPENCERVILLE — William (Bill) John Boyer, 59, of Spencerville passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 9:50 AM at Fox Run Manor, in Findlay. He was born on August 26, 1959 in Lima to the late Bob and Phyllis Lutz Boyer. Bill is survived by his sister Kay (John) Livingston of Arlington. He is also survived by his nieces, Kate (Chris) Mason of Arlington, Kristen of Covington Kentucky, Marissa of Bowling Green, and Jenna of Bowling Green and his nephew Michael of Hilliard. He is also survived by his great nieces, Lexi and Carlee Mason.

Bill was a member of Shawnee United Methodist Church and worked at Marimor industries for many years. Bill was also a very loyal and active volunteer for the West Ohio Food Bank for over ten years and was recognized as a national volunteer of the month by Tyson Foods. Bill overcame many challenges including cerebral palsy and never complained. He loved attending the Allen County Fair and especially loved watching hog judging. He was an avid supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes and never missed watching a beloved football game. Bill always had a smile on his face and was passionate about his family and his dreams and his personality was infectious. His family will dearly miss him.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville Ohio. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bryan Bucher officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, East of Spencerville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the West Ohio Food Bank or to the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities. The family would like to thank the employees of Fox Run Nursing Manor for their wonderful loving care of Bill.
